Joins the VFA and changes their colours to Brown with a Gold 'V'.

Joins the VFL alongside the Bulldogs and the Kangaroos.
First game is a loss to the Tigers by 39 points.
Our first win was in Rnd 5 against the Bulldogs.

Temporarily inverts it's jumper to be Gold with a Brown 'V' and are referred to as the "mustard pots".

Roy Cazaly (Coach) changes the Club from the "Mayblooms" to the "Hawks".

The guernsey changes from a 'V' to vertical stripes.

Chick Lander (Club lawyer) and Jack O'Hagan (singer) come up with our theme song (to the tune of 'The Yankee Doodle Boy').

Vale Peter Crimmins. Hawthorn Captain. Passed away from cancer at the age of 28, three days after the Club won the Premiership. Coach John Kennedy Snr imploring the team to "win it for the little fella".

Arguably the greatest Grand Final ever. The injury depleted Hawks holding out a fast finishing Cats to win by 6 points. Close to a dozen players had to be taken to hospital after the game (Dipper spending a week).
